U-Village sales to benefit White Light Fund

During the month of December, the University Village glassybaby store will donate 10% of all sales to University of Washington Medical Center’s (UWMC) White Light Fund.  Lee Rhodes, glassybaby founder, is a former cancer patient who received life-saving treatment at UWMC.  She founded the White Light Fund to support cancer patients with basic needs during treatment.

The White Light Fund supports the UWMC Service League Living Well With Cancer program and The Collegiana. The Living Well With Cancer program provides funds and services to support Beauty & Cancer, bedside art and therapy, knitting lessons, music, family room essentials and more.  The Collegiana offers affordable and convenient lodging for patients, families and caregivers while receiving treatment at UWMC.  A warm and welcoming “home away from home”, the Collegiana accommodates both short and long-term stays in a supportive, community-like environment.

home care services, child care services, housing
expenses and other related costs. .
