Kathi Goertzen, long time KOMO 4 news anchor, who passed away on August 13, 2012, after a 14-year battle with benign brain tumors.  Kathi approached her illness with the same grace, humor and warmth that were the hallmarks of her broadcasts, which spanned nearly three decades.  ‘kathi’s colors’ pays homage to her alma mater, Washington State University.
