At glassybaby, we believe in the power of giving—turning beauty into tangible acts of kindness. Proceeds from our seconds sale on February 15-16 will support organizations dedicated to helping communities impacted by the devastating fires across the Greater Los Angeles area, including the Palisades and Eaton fires. These fires have left countless families, animals, and individuals struggling with displacement, loss, and the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding.

Our recipient partners are working tirelessly to bring relief, aid, and hope to those who need it most. Through their dedication, they are providing crucial support in three key areas: food assistance, animal welfare, and cancer care.
Food Assistance
With entire neighborhoods uprooted, access to fresh, nourishing meals becomes critical. Our partners are on the ground ensuring that families and individuals receive the sustenance they need during these uncertain times.

Westside Food Bank demonstrates a steadfast commitment to aiding those affected by the fires, providing both immediate relief and long-term support to help the community rebuild and recover. As the central hub for free food distribution to 60 partner agencies, Westside Food Bank continues to supply nutritious meals to those in need, ensuring that displaced residents have access to essential nourishment during the recovery period.
“Before the fires, we were already meeting a significant need in our community. Now, we are expanding our efforts to ensure that those who once relied on meals and food staples from churches and schools—many of which have been lost to the fires—continue to have access to the nourishment they depend on.” - Genevieve | President of Westside Food Bank, Santa Monica
Animal Support
Fires don’t just affect humans; they displace pets, livestock, and wildlife, leaving them vulnerable and in desperate need of care. Our partners are helping provide so many services, at the top of the list they are providing rescue, shelter, and medical assistance for animals affected by these fires.

Pasadena Humane has taken on the monumental task of offering boarding services for families unable to bring their pets with them while they search for new housing. This service is extended not only to cats and dogs but also to rabbits, birds, water dragons, tortoises, and many other pets whose families are in transition. Additionally, their Helping Paws program—designed to reduce owner surrenders by providing free pet food, supplies, and veterinary vouchers—has been expanded to support families impacted by the fire. Pasadena Humane remains committed to standing by the community and continuing to provide crucial resources in this unprecedented time.
"Pasadena Humane has been a vital resource for the community, assisting over 1,000 animals displaced by the Eaton fire and caring for hundreds of stray animals from the fire zones. This ongoing need will persist, and Pasadena Humane remains committed to standing by the community." – Julie | Special Events Manager, Pasadena Humane

Helen Woodward Animal Center is stepping up in the aftermath of the LA fires by providing critical support to overwhelmed shelters near the disaster zones. By taking in stray animals from affected areas, they are creating much-needed space for local shelters to focus on immediate rescue efforts, food distribution, and emergency shelter for displaced pets and their owners. Once in their care, these animals receive medical attention, love, and shelter as they await adoption into new, loving homes. Through these efforts, Helen Woodward Animal Center is not only alleviating the burden on frontline rescue teams but also giving these displaced pets a second chance at a forever family.
"Helen Woodward Animal Center is honored to support wildfire relief efforts by rescuing and sheltering animals affected by the devastation. We are also working with Maui Humane, which remains at critical capacity due to the Lahaina fire, and coordinating with Animal Samaritans of Riverside to make space for displaced LA animals." – Renee, Helen Woodward Animal Center
Cancer Care
The impact of natural disasters on those undergoing cancer treatment is profound. From disrupted medical care to increased vulnerability due to smoke exposure, cancer patients face unique and urgent challenges.

Cancer Support Community Greater San Gabriel Valley
Cancer Care Support Community has been a vital source of support following the Eaton Fires, offering emotional and practical aid. They quickly launched an online space for individuals to process their experiences with guidance from licensed professionals and hosted a session to help the community cope with trauma. In partnership with Project Hope, they distributed 120 air purifiers and 400 hygiene kits to cancer patients and survivors, ensuring access to vital resources.
"Cancer Support Community has long been a beacon of hope for our community. When the Eaton Fires swept through our area, we quickly provided an online space for everyone to process and heal, guided by licensed professionals. The gratitude from our community has been overwhelming.” - Rae Magnuson | Director of Events & Marketing – Cancer Support Community
