We proudly partner with Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, a trailblazing organization dedicated to transforming the lives of older dogs—our most vulnerable companions. Founded in 2007 by Sherri Franklin, Muttville was California’s first senior‑dog rescue and the nation’s first cage‑free shelter for older pups.

Muttville rescues senior dogs from overcrowded shelters—many in good health but overlooked due to age—and offers a haven of care in their colorful, comforting campus. With its new  facility in San Fransico, California—nearly three times larger and funded by passionate donors—they’re doubling down on their impact by increasing intake and adoptions, aiming to save even more senior pups each year. 

Muttville’s model is revolutionary. Their cage‑free shelter, on‑site vet clinic, hospice care, and foster program are reshaping rescue culture. Specialized programs—like the "Seniors for Seniors" initiative—connect dogs with adopters over 62, offering waived fees and starter kits to remove barriers and celebrate companionship across generations. They also host “Cuddle Club” sessions for community seniors to enjoy soothing visits with furry friends.
