glassybaby, the renowned Seattle-based producer of hand-blown glass votive candle holders, has announced the release of an exclusive votive capsule collection inspired by the Shondaland award-winning series “Grey’s Anatomy” created by Shonda Rhimes. The limited-edition collection includes two meticulously designed votives: “Seattle Grace,” presented in a greyish-blue hue, and “my person,” in pink. The collection is now available for purchase at glassybaby.com and select retail locations.
“This collaboration feels like a natural extension of our mission,” said Lee Rhodes, founder and CEO of glassybaby. “For over two decades, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has been a beacon of hope for millions of viewers, just as our votives have been sources of light and comfort in people’s homes. Both Seattle Grace Hospital and glassybaby were born from a deep understanding that healing happens in community, surrounded by the people who become your chosen family. And we share Seattle as our home base.”
The special-edition collection celebrates the series’ legacy of healing, resilience and human connection. Each votive is handcrafted in Seattle, making every piece unique reflecting the stories that make “Grey’s Anatomy” a cultural and global phenomenon.
Suitable for gifting, customers may opt to include a handwritten note with well-known quotes from the series. The “Seattle Grace” votive presents Cristina Yang’s motivating statement: “Have some fire. Be unstoppable. Be a force of nature.” Meanwhile, the “my person” candle displays her memorable affirmation: “You’re my person. You will always be my person.”
In alignment with glassybaby’s commitment to philanthropy, $3.00 from every “Seattle Grace” and “my person” votive sold will be donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation between December 16, 2025, and April 30, 2026. This initiative extends the company’s longstanding tradition of contributing over $16 million to meaningful causes.
