At glassybaby, we believe in the power of light and community to help people through life’s toughest moments. That’s why we’re so honored to partner with LoveYourBrain, a national nonprofit dedicated to improving the mental, physical, and social well-being of people affected by brain injury and their caregivers.
Brain injury often carries a quiet invisibility that makes it especially challenging to navigate a new way of life. Many people look fine on the outside, while inside they may feel isolated, misunderstood, and alone in their healing journey. One of the many beautiful things about LoveYourBrain is how it creates a safe community for people to truly be seen, supported, and encouraged. In that space, healing begins.

Every year, LoveYourBrain serves more than 10,000 people across the U.S. and around the world, helping them discover strength, healing, and community after a traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, or stroke. With compassion at its core, LoveYourBrain creates safe spaces where participants feel seen, understood, and supported.

Thanks to a $5,000 glassybaby grant, LoveYourBrain will be able to continue access to two of their most life-changing programs:
- LoveYourBrain Mindset: Their free, six-week online program where participants explore mindfulness, yoga, and peer support to build resilience. After completing Mindset, 68% of participants report feeling that life is worth living, that they can get through hard times, and that they have positive coping strategies to carry forward.

- LoveYourBrain Community Retreats: Immersive, five-day programs that bring people with brain injury and their caregivers together in nature for movement, nutrition education, art therapy, and restorative practices. These retreats have been described as “life-changing” by those who attend, offering not only healing but also a renewed sense of possibility.

The heart of LoveYourBrain’s work is best captured in the voices of those they serve:
“LoveYourBrain saved my quality of life. I was in a very dark place where all I could see was what was no longer possible. I realized that so much is still possible… I’m feeling more confident, more inspired, more regulated, and definitely more loved and appreciated.” – Courtney L.
“These groups have allowed me to finally open up after 12 years post-TBI. LoveYourBrain continues to be a chance for people to truly see and hear me, and I can't describe how incredible and freeing that has been.”
Stories like these remind us that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in community. With every class, retreat, and connection, LoveYourBrain helps people rediscover themselves and embrace what’s still possible.

We’re grateful to the glassybaby community whose purchases make grants like this possible. Together, we’re shining light on the path to resilience, connection, and community.
